What games have you bought recently......

I currently have  cod, fifa 16, wwe 2k16 all gathering dust due to my RL addiction.

Black ops 3, rainbow 6: siege, fifa 16 were the last games I bought. I played cod for a few weeks when I got it before getting bored. I haven't played rainbow 6 or fifa online yet, fifa because I haven't played a fifa game since 07 and I'm not very good and rainbow 6 (despite it being pretty much an online only game) because I have social anxiety issues and never play using a microphone. I can handle playing it online and being bad but the game relies on realism and only having 1 life per round, so teamwork is important. If I die first and don't tell my team where the enemy is I might as well not be playing.

Rocket League and Star Wars Battlefront are my mains right now with fifa, mlb 15 and nfl 15 being my offline fun.

My lad has just got ratchet and clank

Very good and he loves it.  He has more games than me now for my ps4.

Lego Dimensions, Skylanders and Disney Infinity, I bet you love buying all those figures you need to play them.

Disney are ending the Infinity series now though which means you'll probably start seeing those figures drop in price or become insanely expensive.

I bought Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition a few days ago. I haven't played a Tomb Raider game in years and I'm enjoying this reboot so far. I will say the makers seem to enjoy making Lara Croft suffer.

There's a new Ninja Turtles game coming out in a few days, I'll watch some gameplay videos on that and buy it if it looks fun. I've been planing to buy NHL 16 and NBA2K16 but still haven't got around to it, and I guess Rise of the Tomb Raider is on my list now too.

I love the nhl games.  Not got one for a while though.

DI has cost me a fortune as has lego dimensions.  But the lad likes them so hey ho.

The Lego game takes the piss, I saw it was like £80 just for the starter kit. At least the others charge the same amount as an ordinary game.

The last nhl game I owned was on the wii. I played the demo of nhl15 on the playstation and liked it. The problem is they come out every year. I never know if it's worth buying the 15 or now 16 versions or just wait for nhl17. Honestly I hope the yearly release for sports game will come to an end soon. With the way games are these days there's no reason at all players and kits can't be updated with updates and patches. I mean you look at the fifa games and even the current version can still be out of date since they're made and released so far in advance.

Unless they drastically improve the engine and physics there is no need to still be charging almost £50 to players every year.

I am so happy I didn't get around to buying NBA2K16. The game is free this month on PS+!!!!!!!!!!!


The other free game for the PS4 is Gone Home. I don't know what that is but after so many months of nothing but indie games and the Grim Fandango remaster it's great to see a big title again. I think the last one we had was Drive Club, I deleted that after one race because I already had Project Cars and it was much better.
